Q: I want a commission! Where can I contact you?
I prefer to use my email: aarynbonyak2004@gmail.com, but you can also contact me on any social media I have that has a messaging feature. Just remember that if you are talking to me there, your product's resolution will be limited to what that particular site has set for their DM/PM.
Q: I need my commission done in particular dimensions. Can I request that?
Absolutely! You can also request for a particular pixel-per-inch/centemeter setting too. If you don't request either or tell me it doesn't matter, I'll pick whatever I think is best for the image and it's composition.
Q: Can you draw [character from media]?
Yesn't. It heavily depends on the copyright holder. Commissioned fanart lives in a legal grey area in the United States (where I'm from) so I would have to take it on a case by case basis. For example, I don't take commissions for Disney characters (or any other companies they own) as they have a long history of suing over their copyrights, even in fan creations that are not profited from. Indie creators on the other hand tend to be more lenient with their copyright, and some even encourage creators to create/accept commissions (usually with the caviot that it's not mass produced merch). Again, it really depends. If I'm unfamiliar with their characters or work, I may take a bit of time to research them to see if accepting the commission is legally risky for me.
Q: Can you draw my OC(s)?
Absolutely! It's always an honor to draw someone's original characters. Just be sure to have either referances (drawings or IRL images), a detailed description if I'm the first to draw them, and or a flat color pallete. This will help streamline the process. If you don't have any of that, just keep in mind I may ask lots of questions. It's not to annoy you, I just want you to be happy with your commission!
Q: What will/won't you draw?
This is tricky because there's always something that I don't know about that I may not be comfortable drawing
whether due to personal discomfort or a lack of skill/experience in the area. I make a habit of not taking on
work I know I won't be able to complete satisfactorily.
If you're looking for a particular list here's what I have so far (this may be updated later)
If you don't see what you're looking for on either list, feel free to ask me about it! I don't
judge others for their artistic interests, kinks, or really anything kept in the realm of fiction.
I am not necessarily against art/writting/other depictions of these topics in media, but I am uncomfortable creating/selling that art myself. Other things on this list are simply here because I don't have the skillset necessary for them.
